Celebrating a Milestone: Grainline produces Its 10,000th Auger

At Grainline, we’re excited to announce a significant milestone, producing and delivering our 10,000th transportable auger. This achievement marks over a century of dedication to the Australian rural industry and over 45 years of manufacturing excellence. It’s a testament to the trust and loyalty of our customers, the expertise of our team, and our ongoing commitment to innovation.

From humble beginnings, Grainline’s story began in 1913 with Stead and Baker, serving rural Australia from Ultimo, Sydney. In 1970, the business expanded to Wagga Wagga. Nearly a decade later, Grainline was established as a division of Stead’s Farm Hardware, specialising in pencil augers and imported grain handling equipment. Since then, our focus has been on developing innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of Australian farmers and grain handlers.

Grainline has grown by listening to customers feedback which has been instrumental in shaping our comprehensive range of products, that now includes transportable augers, bunker augers, and remote-controlled doors.
